- ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people including their right to cultural safety.
- provide a safe and supportive service environment.
- provide safe and secure accommodation and support to young people facing homelessness that is within our scope of practice.
- ensure the young people we support are treated with respect and understanding.
- provide a positive and supportive environment where learning and skill development is encouraged and facilitated.
- zero tolerance of child abuse and all allegations and safety concerns will be treated seriously.
- provide avenues for young people to express concern for their safety.
- educate everyone involved in our organisation about what it means to be a child safe organisation.
- ensure everyone involved in our organisation knows how to appropriately respond to complaints, allegations, disclosures and breaches.
- inform others that child safety is everyone’s responsibility.
