Clare has over 13 years of experience in the Higher Education sector at The University of Queensland and University of Southern Queensland. Clare currently works at Darling Downs Health as the Director – Planning, Analytics and Programs. Over the course of Clare’s career, her focus has included corporate governance, business operations, strategic planning, workforce planning, capital and infrastructure projects, and developing initiatives focusing on service improvement and sustainability. Clare is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and Member of the Institute of Managers and Leaders Australia and New Zealand Committee. Clare joined the YellowBridge Board in 2022 and was appointed Board Chair in June 2024.
Carolyn joined the YellowBridge Board in 2013. She was appointed Deputy Chair in 2014 and held the Chair role from 2015 to 2022. She is a former Community Resource Officer with Disability Services Queensland and Principal Public Trust Officer with the Public Trustee Queensland. She is the Founder of Time Made, a professional lifestyle and personal concierge service based in Toowoomba.
Lisa is an experienced business and marketing strategist with a demonstrated history of working across a number of sectors including the trade sector, the health industry, and NFP sector. She is skilled in business setup and strategy, possessing a strong problem-solving ability, a love of innovation and improvement, and skills in marketing, graphic design, and website design. Lisa is the Founding Director of Toowoomba Deck Maintenance and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has family members with a disability and joined the Board in 2014 because she wanted to ‘give back’.
Tom was educated in Toowoomba and today is the Owner and Director of Toowoomba-based building company, Lavish Constructions. He joined the Board in 2015 because he was impressed by the passion the YellowBridge team had for helping others. He wanted to assist in any way and contribute to the organisation’s important work.
Dominic is a lifelong local of Toowoomba and is deeply passionate about Toowoomba’s community, its spirit and generosity. Having worked in the real estate industry for almost two decades, 14 years heading up Colliers Toowoomba with Business Partner Dan Dwan, the opportunity to improve and positively contribute to the community has always been a core value. A strong track record in business, people management and planning, to work with the team at YellowBridge is a great opportunity to add value as well as learn from the organisation and its team.
Dominika has over 15 years of experience providing accounting and audit services for ASX-listed, private, not-for-profit and government entities. Dominika is currently a Sector Director at the Victorian Auditor-General’s Office, specialising in the health sector. Her experience also spans across the housing, defence, energy, transport, travel, local government, education, and agribusiness sectors. Dominika is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. She joined the YellowBridge Board in 2021 and was appointed Chair in 2022. She held the position of Board Chair for two years before returning to the position of Director in June 2024.
Evan has more than 15 years experience in senior health management in a variety of locations, including aged and community care, correctional and immigration detention, private hospitals, and Aboriginal healthcare. He provides services to several healthcare accreditation bodies as a surveyor and sits as an examiner for internationally qualified nurses on behalf of AHPRA. Evan is also a sessional academic and lecturer for several universities. He has successfully led organisations through high level strategic change and master planning, and has a passion for robust clinical governance. Evan joined the YB Board in 2024.
Matt is currently the Director of Business and Employment Law at Murdoch Lawyers in Toowoomba. He has more than 20 years experience in the law profession including five years with a top tier international law firm in Brisbane. His work involves helping many businesses across a range of industries including agriculture, horticulture, transport and logistics, not-for-profit, medical, education, building and construction, manufacturing and retail. Matt joined the YB Board in 2024.
Alex has seven years experience as a Director in the not-for-profit sector in the areas youth, mental health, NDIS as well as community and residential aged care services. He is a specialist anaesthetist at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, a lecturer at the University of Queensland and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. His areas of interest are clinical and corporate governance. He joined the YB Board in 2024.
